The city is renowned for its gardens which thrive in the subtropical climate. Best of them is the Historic Bok Sanctuary with perfectly manicured landscapes leading to the Bok Tower in the centre which hourly plays a carillon on its forty bells. The park is home to many species of duck and other waterfowl which live and breed on its lakes.
The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art holds the largest collection of Tiffany art in the world and whilst it’s not to everyone’s taste, many of the examples are magnificent, especially when you consider how cutting-edge the designs were when they were first made.
For a fun day out, visit Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum where you’ll encounter some very strange exhibits in a building designed to look like it’s collapsing!
