Ramlosa Brunnpark is the site of the popular spa in the city which is surrounded by a beautiful 18th century park. The city also has two castles, Helsingborg which is a ruin but which has attractive arches which cover the steps down to the old town. For a more complete castle experience visit Sofiero Castle, a royal residence on the seafront. It’s well known for its rhododendron and azalea garden, voted the best in Sweden in 2010.
Visit Norra Hamnen, an old industrial dock which has now been gentrified and turned into a marina with shopping, restaurants and entertainment. A very unusual experience is to have dinner on the cross channel ferries. It’s a very popular eating destination for the citizens, especially in the run up to Christmas and the experience is one to be savoured.
